Privacy Policy
CCIA · Christ Central Intelligence Agency
CCIA ("the app," "we," "us") is a Christian discipleship app. We respect your privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we store and why.
What we collect
- To start: your first name and country. Only the first letter of your name is ever shown to others ("Agent C"); your full name stays private to your device and your own account.
- Your progress: the day you're on, streak, badges, and the journal entries (debriefs) you write. Debriefs are private to you.
- If you create an account (optional): your email address, used only to sign in, verify your email, and sync your progress across devices.
- If you choose to share: a public profile (favorite verse, short bio, agent code, flag, stats — never your real name), community praise reports and photos you explicitly consent to share, station messages, and reactions.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show your real name publicly.
- We do not share anything to the community without your explicit consent.
How it's stored
Data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage). Access is governed by security rules so that you can only read and write your own private data, and only the public fields you choose to share are visible to others.
Your choices
- You can use the app anonymously, with no account at all.
- You can edit or clear what's on your public profile at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Children
CCIA is intended for a general audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information without consent, contact us and we will remove it.
Contact
Questions or deletion requests: reach us through the email on our app store listing or at our support address. We'll respond as soon as we can.
